Partners

Creative collaborations build on each other’s strengths and bring new resources to our community. Thanks to the partners listed below who
are making an impact. Partners are also recognized with specific project
or initiative in which they’re involved. To learn how you can become
involved in United Way’s impact work, email Deborah Squires or call 425.374.5501.

Comcast Supports Kids and Families

As United Way’s television media partner, Comcast promotes and
informs the community about United Way’s work and services. But
more than that, Comcast’s sponsorship is supporting kids and parents through United Way’s Parent Place. From children’s activities to help for kids with special needs to parenting classes, this interactive web site
puts more than 1,000 local resources at the fingertips of parents.

Partners for Professional Development
This partnership provides quality education and professional development for people in both corporate and nonprofit organizations. Northwest Training Institute provides education and training expertise, with the generous sponsorship of Verizon. United Way and Everett Community College provide facilities and support that make the training available to residents in Snohomish County. Upcoming courses are listed in our events calendar.

Herald

The Daily Herald Tells the Story
We live in a generous community. When people see the need, they respond. As United Way’s print media partner, The Herald provides advertising space that helps get the word out and mobilize the caring power of our community.

U.S. Letter Carriers Help Stamp Out Hunger
Each year in May United Way of Snohomish County partners with U.S. Letter Carriers to conduct a county wide food drive that gathers 400,000 pounds of food for area food banks. Postal customers are asked to place nonperishable food items near their mailbox and the Letter Carriers take them to a local food bank. Watch your local newspapers in early spring for details and dates and help stamp out hunger.
