Day of Caring
Days of Caring is a community-wide effort that brings together volunteers and local businesses to provide short term, project-focused volunteer service with non-profit and public organizations.
The annual two-day event gives volunteers an opportunity to assist community organizations in achieving their goals, learn more about solutions to community issues, and experience the intrinsic rewards of contributing to the well-being of our region.
Each year, United Way of Snohomish County's Day of Caring brings together volunteers who are committed to creating positive change in our community. Many projects in the past have helped families with young children struggling to get by, including a few projects from our CORE Collaboratives. Volunteer teams, organized primarily by local companies, completed projects for local nonprofit agencies that often lack the necessary resources to tackle such important initiatives themselves.
We paused this program after 2019 due to COVID and restriction on gathering, but are now having discussions and working on ways to bring this event back in 2023. We are looking forward to connecting volunteers back out into the community. Check back for updates and be sure to follow us on social media!
