To our Friends and Community Members,
At United Way of Snohomish County, we bring together partners across the county to remove barriers to help families escape the traps of poverty. By collaborating with businesses and entities in the private and public sectors, and engaging civic and community leaders, United Way has paved the way in reducing poverty for families.
Our CORE: Creating Open Roads to Equity work focuses on changing the odds for those inter-generational poverty by addressing the unique systemic barriers faced in different areas of Snohomish County. This is long-term work with no shortcuts, and we are so grateful to our partners and community for their ongoing engagement and support. The past two years have been challenging in ways none of us could have imagined, but on behalf of the board and team, thank you to our individual and corporate donors that have continued to invest in our work. As the economy and communities recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is increasingly critical that our families recover before their slip into poverty becomes a trap for generations to come.
Thank you to our donors, partners, and supporters. Poverty is a complex issue and we could not tackle it without you.
Sincerely,
Nicole Amor
United Way of Snohomish County Board Chair
